An analysis of the 1,200+ comments received shows that the most frequent two word phrase used for each of the outcomes is:-

Housing: Energy Efficiency (38); Business: Business Rates (20); Public Services: Renewable Energy (38); Community: Air Pollution (51); Environment: Renewable Sources (76).

The most frequent single words were:-

Housing: Energy (106); Business: Traffic (45); Public Services: Energy (51); Community: Health (124); Environment: Emissions (231).

Overview

Winchester City Council wants to hear your comments on our proposed Council Strategy for 2017-2020. Our Strategy (previously called the Community Strategy) has been updated to reflect the challenges that the district and the Council are facing over the next three years and the ambitions that we have for our residents, businesses and visitors.

We have grouped our Strategy under five areas. These are:

Winchester will be a premier business location
Delivering an Entrepreneurial approach to efficient public services
Improving the health and happiness of our community
Improving the quality of the district’s environment

Within these areas we have set out key measures which we will use to see how well are we doing in delivering our Strategy.

Please use the link below to comment on whether you agree with these 5 outcomes and to give us your thoughts on the measures which we will use to support the Strategy.

This consultation will close on January 13^th. After this we will take account of your comments and a final version will be presented to Cabinet and Full Council in February 2017 for approval. The Strategy will then drive all the Council’s services and projects.
