Trussell Crescent, Weeke - Estate Improvements Proposal
Overview
As part of our Estate Improvement Programme, Winchester City Council is proposing a scheme to provide communal parking to the rear of the Crescent, and landscaping to the grass verges at the front.
Further to the consultation conducted in 2016, regarding a proposed programme of improvement works at the Crescent, a significant amount of work has already been carried out.
Now that this work has been completed we intend on progressing with the parking scheme, and landscaping.
As some time has passed since the original consultation, we are contacting the residents of Trussell Crescent and Trussell Close again, to introduce our proposal.
The proposal
Please see below plan outlining our proposal for the parking scheme. This provides a total of 17 new resident parking bays to the rear of the Crescent. The carriageway will also be widened in some areas.
To view these plans in more detail please see 'Related Documents' below.
The landscaping to the front of the Crescent will include the installation of shin-rails at each end of the grass verges, creation of shrub beds and planting of trees.
What happens next
This consultation closed on Friday 31st July 2020.
Any comments received will be reviewed then residents will be informed of the approved plan in due course.
At this stage, we are unable to specify exactly when this work will take place, but we will keep you informed of developments as they occur.
