Southbrook Cottages Parking Consultation

Overview

As part of the proposal to build 6 new homes at Southbrook Cottgaes. WInchester City Council is consulting with residents about the feasability of providing additional communal parking in the area.

Why your views matter

Since the Information event that was held by the New Homes Team where plans for 6 new flats were shown in August 2020. Residents were keen to see parking in the area improved.

Winchester City Council have appointed UBU Architects to look into designing a parking scheme on Southbrook Cottages following comments received in August 2020 and for residents to consider the proposal.

What happens next

The responses will be used to inform the parking proposal and to assist with deciding if these parking improvements will be implemented.

The consultation closes on Monday 3rd May 2021.  All responses will be reviewed and a proposal agreed based on the feedback received.

If we do not hear from you by this date we will assume that you are happy for the works to proceed based on the plans shown.

We will contact residents informing them of the overall feedback and outcome. 

At this stage, we are unable to specify exactly when this work will take place, but we will keep you informed of developments as they occur.
