Booking Form: Discovery Sessions
Overview
Get Involved: Join Our New Tenant Involvement Groups
We’re launching two exciting new groups – and you’re invited! Whether you want to help shape future housing policies or provide feedback from home in your own time, there’s a place for you.
These groups are being created in response to what you told us – that tenants want more say in how housing services are designed, and how we communicate with you.
The first step is to attend a relaxed, friendly Discovery Session – where we’ll explore what the groups will do, how often they’ll meet, and how we’ll work together.
You can attend one or both sessions, depending on your interest and availability.
Why your views matter
At Winchester City Council, we believe that the people who live in our homes are the experts in what works – and what doesn’t – when it comes to housing services. That’s why your voice is central to how we shape our policies.
The Regulator of Social Housing now requires all social landlords to meet new Consumer Standards. This means councils like ours must give tenants genuine opportunities to influence decisions, co-create services, and hold us to account. But more importantly – we want to. Because when tenants help shape policies from the start, the results are fairer, more relevant, and more effective.
Your experiences, insights, and suggestions help us see things we might otherwise miss. You help us design policies that meet real needs, avoid unintended consequences, and work better for everyone – especially those whose voices are less often heard.
By sharing your views, you are helping to build housing services that are more responsive, transparent, and accountable. We are committed to listening, learning, and feeding back on how your input has been used – even when we don’t make a suggested change, we’ll explain why.
This is your home, and your voice matters.
