Winchester City Council Staff Travel Survey 2025

If you participate in this survey WCC will only collect and use your personal data for the purposes of the survey.  This survey collects your travel data to calculate the council’s carbon footprint and to determine what we can do to make it easier for you to commute sustainably. We will not share your data with any external organisations or use it for any other purpose. We will only keep your data for 12 months.

We do ask for some sensitive personal data - your age, gender and whether you have a disability so that we can compare the group of people who complete the survey with the profile of the council’s total workforce. You do not have to provide this data.

• If you wish to join our car sharing scheme we will ask you for your work email address. We will use this email address to contact you if we identify a car share match. 
• If you wish to enter the prize draw for a shopping voucher we will ask you for your work email address. We will only use your email address to contact you if you win the prize draw. 

Giving your email address for these questions is optional. Your survey can remain anonymous if you prefer.
