Our budget proposals

We'd like your thoughts on the proposals within the council's budget for 25/26, please consider the following questions:

How much do you agree that we should address future budget shortfalls through reviewing how we work and using technology to support greater efficiency and improving online access for customers?

2. Good financial practice for local councils is to ensure that there are adequate 'reserves'. This is money set aside in case there are unexpected costs or at times of unprecedented pressure. Reserves cannot be used long-term, but can be used short-term where there is a strong long-term plan to get back to balanced budgets.
