Draft Denmead Village Design Statement

Overview

A draft Village Design Statement (VDS) has been produced by the local community for the area of Denmead Parish outside the South Downs National Park. 

A consultation on the draft VDS was held between 16 December and midday on 29 January 2016 as part of the process of considering the document for adoption as a supplementary planning document.

The document will, when adopted, provide design guidance for development in Denmead Parish (outside the South Downs National Park) and will supplement the Winchester District Local Plan 2013 and saved policies of the Winchester District Local Plan Review 2006.

What happens next

The consultation on the draft Denmead Village Design Statement (VDS) has now closed.  We will take into consideration any representations made during the consultation.

The amended VDS with any proposed modifications will then be considered for adoption by Cabinet or Cabinet (Local Plan) Committee early 2016.
