Overview

Winchester City Council’s Licensing Department is considering undertaking a review of hackney carriage fares in the district, following feedback from the taxi and private hire trade. The last fare increase was in 2011, with a review in 2016 rejected by the Licensing Committee following strong opposition by the trade.
