Dickson Park - Estate Improvements Proposal

Closed 25 Aug 2020

Opened 3 Aug 2020

Overview

As part of our Estate Improvement Programme, Winchester City Council is consulting with residents of Dickson Park on a proposal to provide additional communal parking.

Why your views matter

Following feedback from residents that there is a general lack of available parking spaces, particularly in the evenings and at the weekends, we have identified a couple of areas that would be suitable for creating hard surfaced parking.

We have drawn up plans proposing an additional 13 resident parking bays.  The existing parking bays on the grasscrete area would be incorporated into the new layout and re-surfaced to create 5 formalised bays.

What happens next

The consultation closes on Tuesday 25th August 2020.  All responses will be reviewed and a proposal agreed based on the most preferred option.

If we do not hear from you by this date we will assume that you are happy for the works to proceed based on the most preferred option.

We will contact residents informing them of an approved plan.  At this stage, we are unable to specify exactly when this work will take place, but we will keep you informed of developments as they occur.
