Tenants & leaseholders views, what's going on and how can you have a say

Closed 19 Nov 2021

Opened 22 Oct 2021

Overview

Have you heard about the charter for social housing residents: social housing white paper that was published in November 2020? This set out the actions the government will take to ensure that residents in social housing are safe, are listened to, live in good quality homes, and have access to redress when things go wrong.

There is also a Tenant Involvement and Empowerment Standard. This sets expectations that as a provider of social housing, Winchester City Council, provides choices, information and communication that is appropriate to all tenants, a clear approach to complaints and a wide range of opportunities for tenants to have influence and be involved.

We have a long history of consulting with tenants and leaseholders and trying our best to ensure you are listened to. However, we know we can always do more.

Why your views matter

We are now asking you, the tenants and leaseholders of Winchester City Council, your views on how you would like to influence your housing service and have a say on what work the tenant involvement team prioritise.

Please give us your views by completing the online survey below by Friday 19th November 2021.

As a thank you for taking part in this survey, we would like to offer a randomly selected Winchester City Council tenant or leaseholder a £50 ‘Love2Shop’ shopping voucher for participating & submitting their details. You will also be in with a chance of winning the annual draw of a prize up to £200.

More details about the prize draws and Terms and Conditions can be found on the Winchester City Council Tenant Involvement Page.
